Our speaker of the day is none other than Marc Lemaire, author of "L'économie a-t-elle une âme? Vers une économie féminine, consciente et animiste au coeur de la transition écologique", published in 2022.

Marc LEMAIRE - EcoRes

Marc is a commercial engineer and agro-economist. He first worked for 7 years in humanitarian aid before founding 14 years ago the NGO Groupe One (Entreprendre pour l'Homme et la Nature), a pioneer in sustainable entrepreneurship in Belgium, the consultancy firm EcoRes, which assists companies and territories in their sustainability transition, the non-profit organisation Equilibre, which works on internal ecology , and Village partenaire, the first business centre in Brussels. He is coordinator of the Degree in Sustainable Management at ICHEC, has been an advisor to three Ministers of Energy and Sustainable Development at federal and regional level and is President of the Fédération Inter-Environnement Wallonie.

Thanks to his insight, we will see how a philosophical reflection on the deep reasons for the health and climate crises can help to invent new economical and political paradigms.
